Call for Papers

Grey systems theory (GST) was developed in the 1980s as a system theory. In 1982, a research article titled “Control Problems of Grey Systems” was published by Professor Deng Ju-Long. This was the first article to mention GST. Later, in a short time, GST spread rapidly and different structures of the theory were developed by various scholars and researchers. GST, one of the techniques aimed at quantifying uncertainty situations, was presented as an alternative method to system theories.

Alphanumeric Journal (2148-2225) seeks submissions for a special issue on 40 years of Grey Systems Theory and Applications. The deadline for submission is to September 30^th, 2023.

This special issue focuses on current research on grey system theory, system sciences and engineering rapidly advancing technologies in uncertainty analysis, complex equipment development and innovation management. This special issue is also supported by Grey Systems Society of Türkiye (GSST) which is a branch of The International Association of Grey System and Uncertain Analysis (IAGSUA) is a non-political organization for spreading the ideas and knowledge and promoting the application of Grey Systems.

Authors should submit a manuscript in English language by Sep 30^th, 2023, via the Journal’s online submission site.

Manuscripts submitted after the deadline may not be considered for the special issue and may be transferred, if accepted, to a regular issue.

All authors have to provide ORCID number.

When prompted for the article type, please select Original Research Article and/or Review Article.
